Season of Change ...

Hey folks! Isn't it nice to see, at least around our parts, that there are signs of change on the horizon. The forsythia bushes are starting to turn yellow. The crocuses are sticking their purple flowers out of the ground and the daffodils are getting ready to "spring" to life.

Well, as nature changes so do our lives sometimes and we are preparing for a change in our family as well. We are moving at the end of this month (March). It might seem sudden, but we have been considering it for a while and it is something that we need to do as a bridge to our next phase as a family. I have started a new job, but it won't be until the second half of the year that I start making money as it is a commission-based job. So, in the interim we are going to move out of our townhouse and in with Silvia's parents. This will allow us to rent our current house and make some money there. We have always planned to rent this house when we move, we are just making an extra step along the way. We will stay with my in-laws until we are financially ready to buy another house and then we will move again. We are putting most of our furniture into storage in one of those PODS, so when we are ready to move, they will just put the POD on a truck and deliver it to our new location.

We covet your prayers during this time. We are confident that this transition will go well, but are more concerned for the girls than anything else. We just pray for a smooth transition for them as things will be a little different than they are used to. Oh, by the way, Hunter is going to live with my parents during this transition, so that will be a little different as well.

We will keep you updated on our search for a new home and we hope to be in a new place within 6-8 months. We are truly blessed to have family to support us in this way as it will be a big change for my in-laws as well. Pray for Sam and Tina's sanity with two preschoolers running around their house all day.

Love to all,

Jeff and Silvia

Hey guys...Wow, big news! We will be praying for you ALL during this big transition. Keep us posted on your transition and progress. You are blessed to have the help of family. We know what a rich blessing family can be during our lives. Thank the Lord for them!

You will be in our prayers. God is faithful. If He opened the door to this new job opportunity and all, then He will provide. And His timing is perfect. Hang in there. Trust in, cling to, rely on, and believe in the Lord because He cares for you... :-)Guaranteed, it will not always be easy, but it can be a real bonding and growing time, and sometimes that has more worth than "comfort".

I will pray for your family. I know it's tough to live with someone else but I also know you will get used to it for temporary basis and it'll be such a special bonding time for everyone. I think how nice it would be to have my mom and dad living here and someone to cook dinner for me every night (or help with) and another person to keep my boys company throughout the day is nice and all that comes with staying at home and wanting another grownup around to talk to or bounce ideas off too. Then there's the other side where they might spoil your kids or disagree how you parent or disipline and see it all. :) I'm sure you know what i mean but don't know if I have the right words. That is so awesome that your inlaws are just like my parents that would take in their children no matter what and do so much to help you. That is unconditional love and that comes from God. Now we definitely have to come over and have a bonus to see my Aunt and Uncle at the same time. we promise not to break a wine glass there. :) P.S. Speaking of wine glass, Diana stayed over last night and this morning while washng dishes guess who broke a wine glass? Me this time knocking it off the kitchen counter right on Diana's slippers. No injuries but lots of glass everywhere. I think we're down to 2 Goblets and 4 white wine glasses left
