We are Thankful!

What a great time of year! To spend some time being thankful in a thankless world. No matter what our situation, everyone reading this blog has a tremendous amount for which to be thankful. We are thankful for the two precious gifts pictured above, for our family and friends who are reading this and most of all for God's unfailing love towards us.

We will be celebrating T-Day with the Tindall clan in Doylestown. Everyone will be contributing their specialties towards dinner and it will be a great day to reconnect with everyone. This year we will be missing our oldest niece, Jesse who is currently living and working in Colorado. If you happen to read this Jess, we all love you and hope to see you soon!

We pray that whatever you do to celebrate this Thanksgiving that you have a blessed and safe time and that you will always remember to give thanks in every situation. Sorry if I sound "preachy" in this post, I really want you to just enjoy a lot of turkey and apple pie and fall into a deep, tryptophan induced coma in front of the nearest football game.

Thanks, Miss Liz!

The girls went over the river and through the woods this week ... not to grandmother's house, but to Miss Liz's house (almost as good)! It was a great chance for Isabella and Olivia to play with their friends Ryan and Alexandra. Of course the moms (Aunt Anna, mommy and Miss Liz) got to hang out and chat as well.

Harvest Fun!

Isabella and Olivia had a blast this year celebrating the harvest. First, Isabella had a special harvest party and costume party at school on Tuesday. Then on Wednesday she got dressed up again for "Trunk or Treat" at church. She and Olivia got to play games, get candy and meet up with lots of church friends. Trunk or Treat is really a nice, safe alternative to Halloween and trick or treating and we are glad that our church puts it on each year! Olivia had a bit of a meltdown about an hour into it, so we did have to leave a little early.

Olivia Loves Yogurt!

Yes, our Olivia has found a new passion ... yogurt! We don't actually know if she likes the taste, but she sure likes the texture and experience of "eating" it. Apparently, it must have some skin-rejuvinating properties as well, because she loves to apply her "yogurt mask" each time she eats. Like everything she does, she smiles while smearing it on her face, hands, through her hair and in her ears. The bib is pretty much pointless, but we keep it on for effect. Hope this brings a smile to your face. Have a great day!
